11 gang men fall in Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Eleven alleged members of the dreaded “Acuña Gang,” including their alleged leader involved in drug pushing, robbery, and burglary in this province, were arrested Wednesday by operatives of the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) in separate police operations in the city and Bacolor town.

Chief Superinten­dent Rudy G. Lacadin, Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director, confirmed the arrests yesterday by the ACPO, which began with the initial arrest of three suspicious-looking subjects allegedly transactin­g drugs in Barangay Cutcut, Angeles City.

Lacadin identified the 11 arrested as Marlon Moncada Acuña, 32, alleged leader of the group and a resident of 110 Narciso St., Barangay Tabun, Angeles City; Yositiro Nebatane, alias “Pee-wee,” 26; Gabriel Paguio, 39; Dustin Balingit, alias “Ten-ten,” 25; Marlon Babao, 30; Ryan Marimla, 34; Randy Allen David, 40; Aries Austria, 35; Alvin Austria, 47; Hariez Lagazon, alias “Pidyung,” 30; and Jayson Garcia. Except for Paguio who is from Mabalacat and Garcia, who hails from Porac, all of them are from Angeles City.

The initial arrest of two suspects who yielded “shabu” in Bacolor, following a chase by police, led to the arrest of the nine others, including Acuña in a pot session in Angeles City.

Six sachets of shabu, one brick of marijuana, drug parapherna­lia, and various branded bags, watches and fashion accessorie­s believed previously looted by the gang were yielded from the suspects.
