List of top drug suspects to be sent to the ‘Punisher’

CEBU CITY — The Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7) is set to submit to presumptive President Rodrigo R. Duterte a.k.a. the ”Punisher,” a list of personalities involved in drugs who are operating in Central Visayas, including Cebu.

This was announced by PRO-7 Director, Chief Supt. Patrocinio Comendador, who added that the list includes high-value targets.

While he did not mention the names of persons in the list, Comendador told reporters that they are the ones that the police here is bent on arresting.

"These are notorious drug personalities and surveillance on them is ongoing," Comendador said.

Meanwhile last Sunday, police arrested a suspected drug pusher and confiscated over 1400,000 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Manlayag Patag, Danao City, Cebu.

Led by Senior Inspector Alejandro Batobalonos, Danao City's Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (CAIDSOTG) arrested Victor Luchavez, 36, at 3:30 a.m. in a buy-bust operation.

Also over the weekend in Cebu City, seven persons including two minors were arrested for illegal drug possession in Barangay Ermita.

Carbon Police Station personnel were patrolling Sitio Bato in Barangay Ermita when they spotted the suspects using shabu at about 12:30 a.m.
