Ahallyu, or Korean Wave, theme park will rise in South Korea next year. Korean President Park Geun-hye led the groundbreaking ceremony on Friday of the K-Culture Valley, a 326,393 sq. m. theme park that will be built in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

The theme park will feature Kpop, Korean dramas and movies and culture.

President Park said, “While cultural content are excellent export goods as they are, the indirect wealth generated from the industry also exceeds our imagination,” according to Yonhap News.

Describing Nora Aunor or “Ate Guy” as “simple pero rock,” Anna Capri would’ve been willing to kiss her on the lips had it been required in their movie “Pare Mahal Mo Raw Ako.”

“Nakakatuwa kasi girlfriend niya ako sa movie,” Anna said of the superstar. “Ito ’yung first time ko na gaganap na lesbian sa pelikula tapos si Ate Guy ang maka-

She cited the hit drama “Descendants Of The Sun,” which earned 10 billion won (1393 million) when it was exported to other countries. She said Korean TV shows generated one trillion won (139 billion) in economic effects and 4,000 jobs.

The president said cultural content benefits South Korea through exports and tourism.

“The theme park will be a platform connecting the public to diverse hallyu content,” said Choi Bo-keun, director general of content industry bureau of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, at a news conference on Thursday.

According to the Korean government, the K-Culture Valley is expected to attract five million tourists yearly and generate 56,000 jobs in five years.

“The theme park will be a platform connecting the public to diverse hallyu content,” said Choi Bo-keun of Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, according to the Korea Herald.

Well, the kissing scene didn’t happen.

“Wala,” Anna said. “(Pero) kung gagawa (din lang) ako ng lesbian role at kung meron akong hahalikan na babae, siyempre (kay Ate Guy na). Oh, my God, pang-portfolio ko ’yon!”

Working with the four movie queens is in Anna’s bucket list. So far, she had done projects with acting greats Nora Aunor (once) and Vilma Santos (twice).

“Wala pa si ate Sharon (Cuneta) at si Maricel (Soriano),” she mused.

In “Pare Mahal Mo Raw Ako,” Anna only had a few scenes with Nora “about five or six” but she’s happy doing it nevertheless.

“Kinabahan ako kasi ang gal-

Things seem to be going well between Kapamilya actress KC Concepcion and football player Aly Borromeo. It has been a month since KC revealed they’ve been dating. Photos of them together have been posted on social media.

“Ang masasabi ko lang is (that) God’s timing is perfect,” KC said on “Magandang Buhay” recently when asked about Aly and the “status” of her heart.

While many would like to know more about what many believe is brewing romance, KC wants to put ing-galing niya,” Anna lauded. “Nag-o-observe ako sa kanya. She was amazing! Magaling siya, wala akong masabi.”

The actress said people could learn a thing or two about handling fame from Aunor.

“Para sa estado niya, she’s very humble. (And) you learn a lot from her. Laging polite, magalang. Po (siya) nang po, gano’n. Nakakatuwa...”

It’s something you wouldn’t expect from an actress of her calibre, Anna added.

“Kahit na simpleng lines, kapag a lid on it. She pointed out that Aly is not from showbiz and whatever they have is still relatively “fresh.”

“Ayaw ko din kasi masyadong pag-usapan ’yung guy kasi hindi naman siya showbiz. And super fresh pa eh,” was how she put it.

KC expressed hope to keep her privacy, though admitting that’s different from keeping a secret.

“Iba ’yung secret sa private,” she said. “Hindi naman secret na may ganyan – na may lalaking ganyan sa buhay ko right now – but I really want to keep it private this time.”

Aly has seemingly won the heart of KC’s mom, Sharon Cuneta, who’s been reported to approve of the football player. siya ang nag-deliver, parang naisip mo, ‘Teka lang, ganoon ba ang pag-deliver?’ ’Yung parang boses pa lang niya, di ba? Minsan kahit hindi mo siya pagsalitain – mata pa lang niya – (umaakting na).” Incidentally, Anna was one of the featured painters in the United Women Artists Association of the Philippines (UWAAP) exhibit at the Podium held over the weekend. Anna had three entries under the “Mga Tradisyong Filipino” theme. Growing up, the actress engaged in drawing first, then sketching. She learned to paint from her visual artist-friends.
