Lenovo ups the ante with the TheaterMax Controller for seamless VR integration with the Lenovo VIBE K5 Series

Lenovo has recently announced the arrival of three multimedia-savvy and stylish smartphones. The Lenovo VIBE K5,Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus and Lenovo VIBE K5 Note boast premium casing, state of the art audio and larger-than-life cinematic experience. Furthermore, the Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus and Lenovo VIBE K5 Note are built in with Lenovo TheaterMax and enhanced with the TheaterMax controller to allow users to control the way they consume entertainment.

The Lenovo TheaterMax technology gets an exciting update with the arrival of the TheaterMax Controller. The controller seamlessly integrates with the smartphones and the ANT VR Goggle for an immersive way to enjoy content, and is very easy to use. Compact and therefore easy to bring when one travels, the controller provides the flexibility for users to use it single-handedly or with both hands. Users can switch between audio/video mode and mouse mode whenever necessary.

Both the VIBE K5 and VIBE K5 Plus are equipped with Dolby Atmos. An additional feature of the VIBE K5 Plus is the Dolby Atmos enabled dual rear speakers for loud and clear audio. The VIBE K5 Note features a state-of-the-art audio codec, 3-mic au- dio input system and audio enhancement. VIBE K5 offers a vivid and wideview 5” HD, the VIBE K5 Plus has a 5” Full HD 1080p and the VIBE K5 Note impresses with its large 5.5” Full HD 1080p display.

All three have what it takes to capture the best photos and play the finest videos.

VIBE K5 Note features a 13MP PDAF rear camera that promotes a super-fast autofocus function for capturing special moments as they happen. Its 8MP fixed-focus front camera is also made to deliver uncompromising camera performance.

Equally high performing are the 5MP front cameras of the VIBEK5 and the VIBE K5 Plus.These two also each have a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash.

The Lenovo VIBE K5 series is made from premium aluminum casing and come in a variety of colors. The VIBE K5 and the VIBE K5 Plus come in Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey while the VIBE K5 Note is available in two colors: Platinum Silver and Champagne Gold.

The VIBE K5 and VIBE K5 Plus are packed with 2GB and 3GB of RAM respectively with 16GB internal storage and up to 32GB microSD expandable memory support. The K5 Note has a 3GB memory and a 32GB builtin storage.
