Pagdilao answers

The counsel for Director General Joel Pagdilao, tagged by President Duterte as an alleged “protector of drugs,” filed yesterday afternoon the former National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director’s counter-affidavit before the National Police Commission (Napolcom) after the agency found probable cause for administrative charges against him. However, Pagdilao’s counsel Atty. Mario Ryan Lauzon refused to divulge the contents of the counteraffidavit to avoid the scenario of trial by publicity. Earlier the Napolcom found just cause to charge Pagdilao for negligence of duty, irregularities in the performance of his duties, and conduct unbecoming of a police officer.
