Drug offenders in Gingoog surrender
BUTUAN CITY – At least 2,612 self-confessed drug users and pushers surrendered to city officials and police authorities in Gingoog City on Monday. During the flag raising ceremony at the city hall quadrangle in Gingoog City, the self-admitted drug dependents and dealers took their oaths, promising to reform, before Gingoog Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Giovanni Alfred Navarro. Among those who took their oaths were women, minors and even married couples. The oath taking ceremony was witnessed by city officials and employees, educators, civic leaders business organization and other line local and national agencies of the city, as well as parents and relatives of the surrenderees.
