To invest nearly 11.5 billion

All Value Holdings Corporation, the retail arm of the Villar group of companies, is investing about R1.44 billion in 2016 and 2017 to fund the expansion of its All Day Supermarket chain to 10 branches by next year.

In an interview during the opening of All Day Supermarket in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, All Value Chairman Manuel B. Villar said they will end 2016 with 5 branches and will add 4 to 5 more branches next year.

“Each branch may cost us about R180 million or less,” said Villar noting that a large percentage of their inventory is consigned by suppliers while the site is leased from Vista Malls of sister company Vista Land & Lifescapes, Inc.

The 4,500 square meter Sta. Rosa branch is the third branch after the two branches in Vista malls in Shaw and Taguig.

While it is currently the biggest, Villar said the next one, in Vista Mall Bataan which will open in three days, will be even bigger. “Our branches are still getting bigger,” he said.

The last branch to be opened this year will be in Vista City in Daanghari to bring their total floor area to about 20,000 square meters for all five branches.

Villar said the branches to be opened next year will also be located in Vista Malls in Mega Manila.

“All of our supermarkets are successful. The response from consumers is very good. They have an upscale look but the prices are low so they cater to the masses,” he noted.

Villar said “All Day Supermarket has been redefining the grocery shopping experience by offering a wide assortment of goods, bigger floor areas, beautiful store interiors, and loads of new services.”

It opens as early as 8:00 in the morning so residents nearby can just head on over to the air-conditioned All Day Supermarket rather than sweat it out in the cramped wet markets.

The freshness of All Day Supermarket’s goods is guaranteed by their accreditation from the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS). The fresh section is also filled with succulent seafood products.

All Day Supermarket also has an Organic or All-Natural Section eliminates the need to go to every farmer or weekend market just to buy organic produce.

Another unique feature of All Day Supermarkets is The Gastro-ville which is perfect for adventurous foodies who can taste different dishes and cuisines that are readily available for them to savor and enjoy.

All Day Supermarket also has a Paluto section that cooks favorite dishes exactly the way customers like it. It also has a Quick Fix Section dedicated to every family’s hardware and repair needs.
