At rate closes

The peso closed lower at R47.16 to the US dollar yesterday at the Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp. (PDEx) from R46.89 the previous day. The weighted average rate depreciated to R47.098 from R46.837. The total volume amounted to $711.6 million.
