Japanese offer security lightings for Bataan growth areas
BALANGA CITY, Bataan — A Japanese firm offered earlier this week what they called “hi-tech security lightings” to Bataan’s P8.2 billion infrastructure and tourism projects are set to be implemented in this highly-industrialized province.
Japan-based Gokuo Group, represented by Shinichiro Dave Arita, director and Chief Hiroyuki Yokoyama, came all the way to the Provincial Capitol here last Tuesday from Japan presented a high-tech and security lightings that will further secure the highways, the Capitol, and Mount Samat area.
Invented jointly by Mitsubishi of Japan and South Korea, Arita and Yokoyama told capitol officials led by former mayor now General Manager of the Metro Bataan Development Authority ( MBDA) that the Gokou group will provide the technical support and installation of their gadget which they described as water resistant, with low ultra violate rays that could not attract insects and lasts 10 to 20 long years.
They said this will further protect and attract investors and tourists in Bataan.
Through the efforts of Governor Abet S. Garcia, first to be implemented is the construction of a new provincial Capitol costing P2.5 billion known as Bataan Government Center, an ambitious one-stop-shop that will be financed by the Malaysian-based Alloy MTD under what they called Public-PrivatePartnership (PPP).
In fact, Garcia said that earthmoving has been started after completing the fencing phase of the project. The Government Center will include the new Provincial Capitol, all national government agencies based here, a commercial center, hotels, and others.
Accompanied by Provincial Environment and Natural Resources chief Raul Mamac, Arita and Yokoyoma had also inspected the One Bataan Command center in Orani town where they plan to set up their gadgets.
