SM City East Ortigas opens today
SM Prime Holdings opens its 60th supermall, SM City East Ortigas today, December 2, 2016. Located on a 58,000 square meter site at Ortigas Avenue Extension near Riverside Drive in Pasig City, the 80,000 square meter twolevel mall will serve shoppers in Pasig City and the eastern part of Metro Manila.
The newly renovated mall – formerly the site of Ever Gotesco – brings new life and purpose to the original facility by combining an updated modern design with a refreshed variety of offerings, including shopping, dining, and entertainment all in one vibrant complex.
SM City East Ortigas’ design comprehensively redefines the building’s architectural presence as a contemporary forward thinking center.
SM City East Ortigas has the SM Store and SM Supermarket as its major retail anchors with SM mainstays like the SM Appliance Center, Watsons, and ACE Hardware.
When completed, it will feature an exciting mix of global and premier local fashion brands – Uniqlo, Skechers, Sperry, The Body Shop, The Face Shop, and Yves Rocher on one hand; and Bench, Human, Regatta, Penshoppe, Oxygen, Plains and Prints on the other.
It will also feature a Cyberzone highlighting the latest in IT and electronic goods; as well as bookstores, appliance stores, jewelry stores and eyewear stores.
Eating out options range from local and international fast food chains, as well as well-loved family favorites like Classic Savory, Max’s, Mesa, Pancake House, Shakey’s, Smokin’ BBQ, and Kuya J.
Mallgoers can relax after shopping with a cup of coffee from Starbucks and The Coffee Bean; healthy drinks from Pinkberry; specialty desserts from La Lola, J Co, and Dunkin’ Donuts; artisan breads from Breadtalk and D’ Bread Kitchen.
A four-screen digital cinema and a four screen Director’s Club complex brings great entertainment to the mall; while amusement centers like Powerville, Quantum, and Tom’s World will bring great fun to kids of all ages. Wellness centers and service centers complete the mall mix.
SM City East Ortigas has 650 parking slots for customer convenience. The mall’s design team includes DSGN & Associates, Design Architect; WCY Architect, Architect of Record, and DA Abcede & Associates, Construction Manager.
