At rate closes

The peso closed lower at R49.76 to the US dollar yesterday at the Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp. (PDEx) from R49.73 last Tuesday. The weighted average rate depreciated to R49.774 from R49.747. The total volume amounted to $404.8 million.
