- By NEL B. ANDRADE

TAYTAY, Rizal — In its effort to ease traffic congestion along major thoroughfares here, especially now that the Christmas rush is around, the municipal government has revived its drive against illegally-parked and stalled vehicles along Ortigas Avenue and Floodway areas of the municipality.

Mayor George “Joric” Gacula has directed traffic authorities in re-implementing City Ordinance No. 6-2003, City Ordinance No. 33-1999, and City Ordinance No. 19-2015 that pertains to towing of illegally parked vehicles and non-motorized vehicles and imposing penalties for violators in specific roads in the municipality starting December 1.

Both Ordinance No.6-2003 and No. 33-1999 identify the areas covered by the towing zones while Ordinance No. 19-2015 allows the municipal government to implement the no parking and towing zones in the town respectively.
