INTRAMUROS CLEAN-UP

Harte Hanks, a Texas-based BPO company with offices in Bonifacio Global City and SM Mall of Asia, will help the Intramuros community in cleaning the Walled City as part of its CSR activity. Together with the Bureau of Immigration, Bureau of the Treasury, National Press Club, Philippine Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Bank of the Philippine Islands, Harte Hanks employees will do their part in the maintenance of historic Intramuros on December 8 starting at 8 a.m. The clean-up will be led by the Intramuros Administration (IA), an attached agency of the Department of Tourism (DOT), with support from Barangays 656 and 654, Samahan ng Manininda sa Intramuros (Sanamai), DPWH, and Manila-DPS.

This is the second in a series of clean-up activities to foster the “bayanihan spirit” in working for a common goal – that of preserving the historic Walled City through a sustained community activity with the cooperation of Intramuros stakeholders, including business establishments, government entities, NGOs, and private individuals.
