Several videos have been storming the net this love month but, perhaps, the most popular of these are those from a fast food giant that have accumulated 29 million views on Facebook as of this writing.

I heard that many branches of the fast food chain were filled to the brim with people a day after the release of the videos. And guess what the top order was? Chicken, haha! It seems these days, all it takes is social media and creative content to catch the Pinoy eye (and heart).

Another popular video on the net is a re-make of the hit pale pilsen commercial “Sabado Nights” back in the ’90s with, check this out, the same “Sabado Nights” girl, Ina Raymundo.

The sexy actress and mom of five kids recounts her feelings about getting the commercial then and now.

“That commercial changed my life,” she said. “I was their second choice for the campaign. But on day one of the shoot, the team felt I was better suited for the ad.

“I was out with friends (it was a Sabado night!) drinking my favorite pale pilsen (seriously!) when my manager called at 2 a.m. to tell me I got the part – but I needed to go home right away because the shoot was at 7 a.m.!” So, what’s the story with the remake, we asked.

“Well, 22 years later, around October, the ad agency called my manager to tell her they’re thinking of making a ‘comeback’ Sabado nights ad. Back then, I could only hope and pray the campaign pushes through. I didn’t want to believe my manager until I was actually shooting the commercial. Who would have thought that after 22 years, a marriage and five children, they would still have faith in me? 22 years!”

Ina was doubly excited in learning she’ll be working with Vic Sotto and basketball players Marc Pingris and June Mar Fajardo for the new campaign.

“I have worked with Bossing Vic many times before and he is such a pro. June is the biggest, tallest and shyest person I have ever met. He is 6’11. He was so shy around me that I had to make him feel comfortable. Marc was funny because he was always on the phone calling (his wife) Danica Sotto. He is a great family man,” Ina said.
