Japanese support

The Department of National Defense (DND) yesterday said that Japan has expressed its readiness to contribute in the trilateral cooperation among the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia in addressing piracy and terrorism in their shared maritime areas. The message was conveyed by Japanese Vice-Minister for International Affairs Ro Manabe during the 5th Philippines and Japan vice-ministerial meeting held in Tokyo, Japan last February 10. (Francis T.
