Ilocos S. brownout

CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur — The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has set a sixhour power interruption that will affect some towns in the second district of Ilocos Sur tomorrow, to give way for an upgrading of power facilities. Lilibeth P. Gaydowen, the NGCP’s North Luzon spokesperson, said the brownout will start at 6 a.m. and affect the substations of Ilocos Sur Electric Cooperative (ISECO) in Candon City and Santiago town servicing some of the towns in the second district of the province.
