Pasay 5-cock derby slated

Big-time cockfighting resumes at Pasay City Cockpit on Friday with the staging of the “RSM Flash Bomba 5-Cock Derby.’’

Rey Morla, a regular member of Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) will host the event which requires an entry of R22,000.

With Sagupaan Complexor 3000 as main backer, the derby’s guaranteed prize is expected to reach to R500,000.

Meanwhile, the LGBA 7 -Cock Derby’s new schedule at PCC is on Feb.23 and 24 (3-cock elims) and March 3 (4 –cock finals).

“For the convenience of more than 100 participants, we have to add one more elims round on Feb. 23,” said LGBA president Nick Crisostomo.
