BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PNA) – The provincial government recently extended livelihood assistance to at least 148 families. Governor Carlos Padilla and his wife Ruth personally handed the checks to the beneficiaries at the provincial capitol in this town. The beneficiaries were given 110,000 each through the “Search for Idol Kong Pamilya” program of the provincial government, designed to uplift the living conditions of poor but ideal families in the province. “Use your assistance according to the set terms and conditions and you will improve your economic life. Once you have succeeded, we will provide more for you,” Padilla said. The cash assistance beneficiaries are from the municipalities of Kayapa, Aritao, Sta. Fe, Solano, Kasibu, Bagabag, Alfonso Castaneda, Ambaguio, Quezon , Bayombong, Bambang, Villaverde, Diadi, Dupax del Norte and Dupax del Sur.
