BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Governor Abet S. Garcia is eyeing to achieve a zero poverty incidence in Bataan. Garcia said that the recent report of Philippine Statistics Authority showed that Bataan has a low poverty rate of only 1.6 percent, the second lowest among all provinces nationwide. But the governor wants more. He wants that Bataan achieve zero percent poverty. He also aired a challenge among the local leaders to set aside politics and concentrate more on providing the basic services to their constituents to achieve further growth in economy. (Mar T. Supnad)
