Motorized killers Slay 2 junkies

Motorcycle-riding gunmen are still on the loose.

Two men allegedly involved in illegal drugs were shot dead – vigilante style – in separate incidents in Taguig City and Pateros early yesterday morning.

Chief Supt. Tomas Apolinario Jr., director of Southern Police District (SPD), identified the victims as Eugene Padilla of Barangay Wawa, Taguig; and Osundo Calderon, tricycle driver, 49, of Barangay San Roque, Pateros.

Tricycle driver Calderon was shot by two riding-intandem suspects around 3:15 a.m. while he was waiting for passengers along M. Almeda St., Brgy. San Roque.

The suspects, with face masks, on board a motorcycle and clad in white and red shirts, riddled Calderon with bullets.

The suspects immediatel­y left the scene.

Around 4:30 a.m., Padilla was gunned down by two motorcycle-riding men while he was walking along Cadena de Amor Extension, Brgy. Wawa, Taguig.Police said the masked suspects appeared behind Padilla and in a matter of seconds, shot him repeatedly.

Both Padilla and Calderon were included in the drug watch lists in their barangays.

Police are now conducting a follow up investigat­ion on the incidents. (Martin A. Sadongdong)
