PMPC Managing Director Yuji Majima also said the publicly-listed company aims to triple its sales in 2020 versus its 2015 sales revenues of R6.7 billion.
Majima said PMPC will introduce more premium design and Japan quality products to cater to the domestic demand.
PMPC Vice President Masaru Toyota said that PMPC will strengthen its presence in the beauty care products like facial steamer, cleanser, hair dryers, and hair straighteners, among others.
He said the Panasonic brand does not have Japanese and Korean competitors in this product category but which are dominated by European beauty care brands.
PMPC, which employs 600 regulars, will also make delivery of its products and services especially in the provinces seamless.
An original joint venture of Precision Electronics Corp. of Jesus del Rosario Group and Matsushita Electric Co. Ltd. is now 80 percent owned by the Japanese partner and 20 percent by the public.
