Conference on brgy, SK polls

BUTUAN CITY – Top officials of the Commission on Elections (Comelec), led by Chairman Juan Andres D. Bautista, recently conducted a two-day conference and consultative interaction with stakeholders in northeastern Mindanao (Caraga region) in preparation for the Barangay (village) and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections come October 23, 2017. The Comelec chair presided over the consultative conference with the Comelec officials and personnel of Agusan del Norte and Butuan City, Agusan del Sur and Bayugan City and Surigao del Sur and the cities of Tandag and Bislig at Almont Inland Resort, Hotel and Convention center here. A forum with election stakeholders was also held at the Audio Visual Room of Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU) main building. (Mike U. Crismundo)
