‘Gawagaway-yan’

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela – The city government is showcasing a historic celebration for the residents and tourists in commemoration of its 16th year as a city with the launching of the 15th Gawagaway-yan Festival, which goes with the theme “Cauayan City addressing sustainable development goals in our guest to be the Ideal City of the North”. Mayor Bernard Dy said Hot Air Balloon and Sky Diving experience, Tricycle dressedup and the contest of painted carabaos as the highlights of the city’s festival until April 1 to 9. The 16th cityhood anniversary will commence on March 30, while the 15th Gawagaway-yan Festival will start on April 1 with the opening of Agro-Industrial Trade Fair. (Zaldy C. Comanda)
