Inday Sara demands apology

-

DAVAO CITY - Mayor Inday Sara DuterteCarpio has demanded a public apology from port and reclamation developer Mega Harbour after the latter’s scathing statement last week reacting to Mayor Carpio’s pull out of the P39billion joint venture agreement with the Davao City Government. Mega Harbour, in a statement sent to media outfits last week, said they were surprised by Carpio’s decision. However, Carpio denied that there was no notice. “Contrary to your claim, you were given notice when my letter informing you of my decision was received by your office. This fact was duly acknowledged in your letter dated July 27, 2017,” Mayor Carpio said. Carpio called out Mega Harbour for saying that her decision had put the company in a bad light and “tarnished even blackened beyond repair.” (Yas D. Ocampo)
