In Bohol, new driver’s licenses out in October

-

TAGBILARAN CITY — Drivers in Bohol may have to wait a little longer before they can get their five-year driver’s licenses. Land Transportation Office (LTO) Tagbilaran Registrar Erwin Patalinghug said drivers who applied for a license on Tuesday may have to wait until October before they can get the plastic cards. The LTO started to distribute the new cards with five-year validity on Tuesday, initially in National Capital Region. Patalinghug said LTO in Region 7 or Eastern Visayas will have to wait for the supplies and the printers coming from Manila. Applications filed on Tuesday onwards will already have a five-year validity, but the applicants will be given receipts, he said. (Dave Albarado)
