Rate closes

The peso closed lower at R51.13 to the US dollar yesterday at the Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp. (PDEx) from R51.11 the previous day. The weighted average rate depreciated to R51.166 from R51.159. Total volume amounted to $567.45 million.
