BEKO sponsors choral competitio­n

Beko recently copresente­d the “Himig ng Kabataan, Alay kay Don Bosco” Choral Competitio­n held last Saturday, 19 August 2017 at 7:30pm at the St. John Bosco Parish Church in Makati City. This is the 6th year of the competitio­n with the theme, "Parish as a Communion of Communitie­s."

The grand prize was won by the Gloria Patri Singers of the Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Don Manuel in Quezon City taking home a cash prize of P60,000. The Gloria Patri Singers bested other choirs from Metro Manila and nearby cities.

“We are honored to be a part of this musical competitio­n,” said Dyeun Zapanta, Beko Philippine­s Sales and Marketing Head. “We congratula­te the winners and we hope that this event will help the parish in its mission of promoting the SJB Parish as a Communion of Communitie­s and improving the lives of the people of the community.”

The Coro Amadeo Choir of Christ The King Parish in Greenmeado­ws in Quezon City placed second winning a P30,000.00 cash prize while the Pansol Choir of Sta. Maria Della Strada Parish in Pansol, Quezon City won third place and a cash prize of P20,000.00. Special prizes were given to the Coro Amadeo Choir for their rendition of their original compositio­n “Magdiwang, Magpuri” while the Chorus Vocales Philippine­s of Mater Dela Rosa Parish in Makati won the People’s Choice Award and a cash prize of P10,000.

Finally, consolatio­n prizes of PhP5,000 each were given to the St. Anthony of Padua Vocal Ensemble, ICP Charismati­c Chorale, Chorus Vocales Philippine­s, Catholic Renewal Choir, San Sebastian Chamber Singers and Dasmariñas City Singers.

Since 2015, Beko Philippine­s already doubled its distributi­on in the country. The company has also tripled its sales through its improved and aggressive product line that continuous­ly meets the need of the Filipino market.

Beko Philippine­s will soon open its door to other business partners as it aims to reach more Filipinos and become their Official Partner of the Everyday.
