FILINVEST’S FORA MALL OPENS IN TAGAYTAY
Tagaytay City, Cavite is widely known as a go-tolocation for weekend road trips and getaways for both locals and vacationers. The growing market for leisure-oriented developments in the area has paved the way for the opening of the city’s very first mall called Fora Mall, located along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway. Fora Mall is a Filinvest lifestyle mall and part of the For a Tagaytay mixed-use development.
One of Fora Mall’s anchor stores is Super Metro Hypermarket of the Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI), the country’s first ever 24-hour hypermarket that gives the people of Tagaytay City a one-stop shopping experience as only a combined supermarket and department store can deliver. Super Metro Hypermarket also houses complementary outlets with its Metro Pharmacy, Suisse Cottage bakeshop, bills payment center, and foreign exchange center.
With department store and almost 300 dining and retail shops, Fora Mall is seen as a new destination in the city. Among the stores opening this month are KTZ Hot Pot, Lady Christine’s, Classic Savory, and Uncle Cheffy’s for dining; Levi’s, Wrangler, Broadway Gems, and La Sedia for retail; and Nails. Glow and Nuat Thai for wellness.
The mall also promises to give mall goers a state-of-the-art entertainment experience with its soon-to-open four digital cinemas.
Aside from the newly opened commercial block, Fora Mall also features a two eight-story condominium building and two 10-story condotels, trade hall, and meeting rooms, to be operated by Filinvest Hotels, Inc. through the Quest Hotel brand. The development will also feature a forest-themed garden around the amphitheater, making it an ideal location for special events like weddings and parties.
