CLOAs distributed
BUTUAN CITY – A total of 110.8 hectares of government lands was distributed to farmers in Surigao del Sur, officials of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) on Wednesday said. Farmers, who have been tilling government lands for years in five-far-flung barangays in Tago town, Surigao del Sur province, were the recipients of certificates of land ownership awards (CLOAs), according to DAR 13 Spokesperson Joie I. Ceballos. He said a total of 61 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) recently received their respective CLOAs from DAR Undersecretary for Field Operations Office Karlo S. Bello and DAR 13 Regional Director Engr. Felix B. Aguhob. “This is the beginning of continued agricultural development in that southern part area of Surigao del Sur province,” the region’s DAR 13 spokesperson said. (Mike U. Crismundo)
