Lumber donated to Marawi camps

BUTUAN CITY – Environment Secretary Roy A. Cimatu has signed a deed of donation covering 50,000 board feet of sawn lumber that will be delivered to military camps in Marawi City from the Caraga region, the regional office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) disclosed here on Tuesday.DENR 13 Regional Director Charlie E. Fabre said the Army’s Northeastern and Northern Mindanao Fourth Infantry (Diamond) Division got a total of 40,000 board feet, while the 103rd Infantry Brigade, First Infantry Division also got a total of 10,000 board feet.The lumber donations will be used for the repair and construction of facilities in the two military camps, the region’s DENR chief said.
