More land for CDO camp

Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Roy Cimatu has awarded a special patent covering 43,547 square meters of public land within Camp Evangelista in Cagayan de Oro City to the Fourth Infantry Division (4ID) of the Philippine Army.Under Public Land Act or Commonwealth Act 141, a special patent can be issued in favor of government instrumentalities or institutions over alienable and disposable lands dedicated for public purposes, such as public schools, municipal halls, public plazas or parks and other government institutions.The special patent was handed by Cimatu to Philippine Army Chief Lt. Gen. RolaoJoselito Bautista, who turned it over to 4ID Commander, Major Gen. Ronald Villanueva.
