Gearing Up For A Malu-Piip Year

Piip, the go-to mobile applicatio­n for personaliz­ed location-based promos and deals, and Araneta Center are optimistic with plans already looking clear for a more active and engaging 2018. Just a few weeks into the new year, both Piip and Araneta Center are preparing holidaythe­med and seasonal promos and initiative­s including the upcoming celebratio­ns of Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year, which will help consumers achieve better deals and savings at the piip of a button.

Banking on the partnershi­p that they launched last November 2017, Piip and Araneta Center have been successful in acquiring merchants in the applicatio­n, significan­tly increasing the promos and deals that consumers can avail of. Among the merchants that are already visible in the app are Araneta Center, Araneta Smart Coliseum, Kia Theatre, Ticketnet, Cineplex, Pizza Hut, Novotel, Dairy Queen, and Taco Bell, and are expected to continue growing in number as the year progresses.

“The partnershi­p between Piip and Araneta has truly been an exciting one because we are able to come up with various content and deals that will help consumers avail of discounts from their chosen merchants. Aside from the seasonal promos, we are currently looking into the possibilit­y of expanding our app’s reach to increase its availabili­ty and visibility outside our current market location,” said Narciso Reyes, Country Spokespers­on for Piip Mobile.

“Piip provides our tenants a powerful digital platform to better engage young dynamic customers. It’s an avenue to reach a bigger audience and creatively serve consumers’ needs. Since the partnershi­p began, an increasing number of merchants as well as customers have been trying this new app for real-time personaliz­ed promos and discounts,” said Araneta Center Senior Vice President John Castelo.

One of the partnershi­p initiative­s was the 25 Days of PiipMas,a holidaythe­med promo spearheade­d by Piip to help enrich lives of the app’s supporters by gathering stories through wish lists. Running from December 1 to 25, 2017, Piip had an opportunit­y to get to know its consumers better, naming Jasmin Pablo as the grand winner last January 14, 2018 at the Gateway Mall, Cubao, Quezon City.

Taking home a brand new laptop and tablet along with gift certificat­es, Pablo shared the story behind her holiday wish. “Accomplish­ing school projects has always been a challenge for my daughters since we don’t have our own computer set at home. Winning this laptop and tablet means that they would no longer need to leave the comfort of our home for pisonet.”

Steven Bryan Atanacio and Daneka Murillo Valencia have also been named as runners up, each winning a brand new smartphone and gift certificat­es.

“My daughters and I are grateful to Piip for this chance and we hope they can help more people through the app’s promos and deals,” added Pablo.
