ARIES (March 21-April 20) – Do not try to do all the pleasant things leaving the less pleasant ones to your colleagues. Share both between you. You would do well to try to visit places not previously known to you – to do so will give you a welcome new perspective. TAURUS (April 21-May 20) – Something with which you had high hopes will prove to be rather disappointing. Never mind, you cannot succeed in every instance and by contrast something you did not think would go far will do so. Try not to dispense your efforts into too many directions. GEMINI (May 21-June 20) – Do not place too much reliance on ‘patent’ medicines, but do not deviate from a sane and healthy way of life. If you drink a lot of coffee or tea, try a cup of the decaffeinated variety now and then. An old friendship is liable to reach a point where it is at threat; do try to preserve it. CANCER (June 21-July 20) – You will find out that good ideas are now slow in coming but do not let that worry you. When engaged in a joint effort, you should seek to play a major, not a minor role. You will have an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise. You will be glad you took the trouble to do so. LEO (July 21-Aug. 20) – Do not get entirely out of practice with a skill you seldom use; you will again need it regularly. If a task proves more difficult than you had thought, that only means you will have to make a greater effort. Instead of making assumptions you should try to establish the true facts of the matter. VIRGO (Aug 21-Sept. 22) – You will not be able to do anything brilliant but if you make the effort you will do just well. If you try to be too clever, then you will alienate people to a degree you are not clever enough to deal with. If you think you are superior to all others, you are in for a rude awakening. LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) – Beware when drilling holes in your home; you are more likely to sever a cable or puncture a pipe. Nothing is quite as it seems to be so you would do well not to judge solely by appearances. There will be new developments in an area of particular interest to you, keep abreast of them. SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) – Take special account of interest payments on credit cards; Seek to use them mainly as a convenience. Do not just say what you think if it is liable to upset the person you say it to.There could well be problems with a growing child as well as with an older member of the family. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) – You will have somewhat outlandish notions, but you should let commonsense prevail. A few changes you do not like will have to be made; once you have made them you will feel a lot better. Do not take advantage of others, but that does not entail missing a good opportunity CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) – You will get on well with those close to you, but avoid using force and do not allow yourself to be driven by envy. Keep an eye on the ‘appointments’ section of the newspapers, and do not hesitate to apply for jobs for which you think you might be suitable. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) – If you input wrong information into a computer or calculator, you will naturally get wrong results. So if results seem wrong, do check our inputs too. Do check your reference books too – they also get out of date very rapidly nowadays. PISCES (Feb. 20-March 20) – Ask less from others and more from yourself and you will be less disappointed. There is every reason to be ambitious, but you should try to avoid setting your aims unrealistically high. Avoid pampering to yourself, but there is no reason for not seeking to make things easier for yourself.
