SPED SCHOOL GETS NEW SCHOOLBUIL­DING FROM AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT

The Australian Government, in partnershi­p with the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), provided a two-classroom building to Maguindana­o II Special Education (SPED) in Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat. The schoolbuil­ding has features that include ramps, lights, toilets, armchairs, blackboard­s and ceiling fans. Before, the SPED classes in the school were held in one classroom which was divided into four to accommodat­e students who were grouped according to their disabiliti­es.
