Quezon barangay chairman shot dead

MULANAY, Quezon – A village chieftain was shot dead by still unknown motorcycle-riding gunmen inside his store at Barangay Cambuga, this town, Saturday night.

Police identified the victim as Domingo Concha Ruedas, 54, Barangay Cambuga chairman.

Ruedas was inside his store when the suspects, riding a Black Suzuki GD, stopped in front.

The helmeted back rider, wearing a black t-shirt and denim pants, got off and fired at Ruedas several times, police said.

The gunman rode the bike again and the two riders fled in the direction of San Narciso town.
