Blood-letting

MALOLOS, Bulacan – Recognizing the need to replenish the supply of blood bag rations to hospitals, the blood-letting joint project of Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado and Vice Governor Daniel R. Fernando was held in partnership with the Damayang Filipino Movement Inc. last Friday. Dubbed “Dugong Filipino, Dugong alay ng Bulakenyo,” about 300 donors participated in the event which took place at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium. Among the donors were members of the Bulacan police, led by its acting Bulacan police director Sr. Supt. Chito Galvez Bersaluna; members and officers of Rams Guardian Brother of Central Luzon and the Philippine Army, Bulacan scholars, provincial capitol employees and non-government organizations.
