Couple lives the luxurious dream

Investing in an upscale residential development invokes careful planning and decision making. It may be the first big venture for the family, so there are many crucial things to consider.

Paolo Cayton and Elsandra Neri Dagondon-Cayton, a young, successful couple with a growing family, thought things over when they were choosing their own home. After research and comparison of various development projects, the many qualities of The Enclave Alabang by luxury real estate brand Filigree easily met their criteria. They are now among the new property owners.

The Enclave Alabang is in an upmarket location along the primary Daang Hari Road, allowing for ease of access via major thoroughfares like the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Skyway, and the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX).

“She’s from the south, I come from the north,” said Paolo. “Makati, where I work, is closer to The Enclave Alabang. I don’t have to worry about the heavy traffic anymore.”

“The deciding factor was really the location, which is close to my work and my daughter’s school,” Elsandra added.

The Enclave Alabang sits on 10.5 hectares of low-density, verdant environs, which also attracted the Caytons to the project. Forty percent is dedicated to lush, open spaces, which is even more highlighted with the development’s tropical modern design architecture.

Its centerpiece is the Central Park, which boasts of rich flora, a mini manmade lagoon with calming waters, and a watch tower. This landscaped focal point offers a children’s playground, ample seating areas, and an expansive green space for outdoor activities like biking, jogging, and walking.

“The mixture of modernity and nature is really welcome,” shared Paolo. “Where I come from, all the establishments are just concrete, so it’s nice to go home and feel that you’re not in the city.”

As the project puts a premium on exclusivity and privacy, it takes pride in the close-knit community, which families with discerning tastes seek in a bustling metropolis.

It also helped that a world-class design team was behind it — award-winning firms H1 Architecture, Budji+Royal Architecture+Design, and AECOM.

“Having renowned designers on board really gave us the assurance that what they show you on the AVP will really happen,” explained Paolo. “Designers have a reputation to live up to, and if it doesn’t happen, it’s their name on the line.”

The couple was also pleased with the relationship they have with the representatives of Filigree.

“Everyone was helpful. I didn’t have a hard time reaching them through phone or e-mail. The village manager is very helpful, too,” said Elsandra. “Everything matches the branding, of what Filigree stands for.”
