How Ryle takes his responsibilities to heart

Ryle Santiago had no qualms rummaging through his closet one day and emptying it of clothes that could get him into trouble – and here’s why.
The Hashtags member is the new endorser of BNY Jeans. And while the brand did not ask him to go as far as to throw away the “other” clothes, Ryle claimed he simply did it. “Tinapon ko na po ’yung damit ko from past endorsements,” was how he put it. Whether he is kidding or not, one thing is for sure: This guy takes his responsibilities seriously. Asked about the other ways he fulfills his duties, he said that he posts daily one or two pictures of himself wearing the clothing line he endorses – again, even without being asked to do so. “Hindi naman nila sinabing araw-araw pero ako kasi as much as possible, ’di ko na sinusunod kung ilan ba dapat. Minsan sobra pa nga ako sa maximum. Wala naman sa’kin ’yun.” He even keeps to a certain weight to look good for the products he pitches. He tips the scale at 142 lbs. “Meron po akong clause sa sarili ko na bawal ako tumaba,” he said. “Magpapadagdag po ako ng timbang pero na.” muscle
He recalled being a little on the heavy side late last year and he didn’t like it at all. “Ang taba ng mukha ko nun! Nagi
guilty ako ’pag umuupo ako kasi ’yung tiyan ko bumubukol.
“Nangako ako sa sarili ko na walang asukal kundi prutas tsaka kape sa umaga. Bawas ako sa mga tinapay,
fries, sa mga carbohydrates. Sa rice, isang serving tapos araw-araw akong nag-cardio hanggang sa nawala ’yung tiyan and ayun nagbubuhat na ulit regularly.”
No wonder he considers 2018 his biggest year so far in show business. Everything is falling into place, though, of course, the guy wants to achieve more.

Ryle is cast in the movie “Bakwit Boys” due in cinemas by year’s end.
