PNP faces DOJ in UNTV

Games Tomorrow (Pasig City Sports Center) 2 p.m. – Ombudsman vs Senate 3:30 p.m. – Malacañang-PSC vs GSIS 5 p.m. – PNP vs DOJ

The Philippine National Police (PNP) Responders and the Senate Sentinels hope to keep their 1-2 positions when they go up against their respective rivals tomorrow in the 2nd UNTV Cup Executive Face-Off at the Pasig City Sports Center.

The Responders battle the DOJ Boosters at 5 p.m. with the former determined to extend their winning streak to five games in the tournament that offers 11 million to the chosen charity of the champion team.

After a much-needed break, the Sentinels are expected to come out strong when they face the Ombudsman Graftbuste­rs at 2 p.m.

Out to lead the Responders are Joel De Mesa, Anthony Padua, Ireneo Dalogdog, Philip Gil Philips, and Israel Dickson – the same players who produced significan­t numbers in the team’s runaway 98-50 win over the GSIS Furies last week.
