Former sexy actress, mother and son, gov’t worker busted for drugs

Police anti-drugs operations in five provinces resulted in the death of a suspected drug pusher in Rizal and the arrest of a former sexy actress in Pampanga, a mother and son in Batangas, and a government employee in Cagayan, among others.

‘Kangkong’ star A Camp Olivas report said former sexy actress Bridgette de Joya (real name: Michelle Comstock) who starred in the movie “Kangkong” was arrested, along with her live-in partner Marciano Camacam, alias “Bong Guevarra,” 42, after yielding eight plastic sachets of “shabu” in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Chief Superinten­dent Amador V. Corpus, Central Luzon police director, said the suspects’ residence was raided by police at 4:10 p.m. Thursday on the strength of a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 46. Apart from shabu, various drug parapherna­lia were also seized from the suspects.

Pusher killed

In Rizal, a drug pusher known only by his alias, “Toyi,” was killed Thursday night when he allegedly traded fire with police who were supposed to arrest him in an entrapment in Karanglan Village, Barangay San Isidro in Cainta.

Toyi, reportedly a member of the gang “Highway Boys,” was in possession of 14 sachets of “shabu,” and a revolver.

Mother and son

In Batangas, police arrested a 54-year-old mother and his 33year-old son caught in the act of peddling shabu in Barangay Bolok, Batangas City at 7:40 p.m. Thursday.

Supt. Sancho Celedio, city police chief, identified the suspects as Dolores Lucas and her son Jayson, both of whom have illegal drugs records. It was learned that Dolores was released from the Batangas City Jail in 2016, while his son got out of a Las Piñas City jail last year.

Batangas police seized from them 22 sachets of shabu.

DENR employee In Cagayan, police arrested a government employee in a buy-bust operation inside a hotel room in Tuguegarao City.

Police said Allan Jay Luna, 32, married, a support staffer of the Department of Environmen­t and Natural Resources (DENR), was nabbed inside Room 5 of City Court Drive Inn Motel in Barangay Leonarda, Tuguegarao after allegedly selling a sachet of shabu to a covert agent.

3 fall in Ecija In Nueva Ecija, drug suspects Anthony de Leon, 36, and Rodolfo Ladores, 60, both of Barangay Vijandre, Cabanatuan City were arrested in separate raids ordered by a local court after they were found to be in possession of several sachets of shabu, said Supt. Ponciano Zafra, city police chief.

Zafra also said that a certain Noel Magno, 36, of Barangay Josef Sur, Cabanatuan City, was busted in a drug sting in which he yielded three plastic sachets of shabu and a marked R500 bill. (With reports from Lyka Manalo, Nel B. Andrade, Liezle Basa Iñigo, and Ariel P. Avendaño)
