Logitech nominates LEGO Group’s CFO Marjorie Lao to board
LAUSANNE, Switzerland & NEWARK, Calif. (Business Wire) - Logitech International (SIX: LOGN) (Nasdaq: LOGI) yesterday announced that its board of directors will ask shareholders to approve the election to the board of Marjorie Lao, chief financial officer of the LEGO Group. The election will take place at Logitech's annual general meeting (AGM) in Lausanne, Switzerland on September 5, 2018.
The announcement said Sally Davis and Sue Gove have decided not to stand for reelection to the board at the 2018 AGM when their current terms end. Sally Davis has been a non-executive member of Logitech's board of directors since 2007, is chair of Logitech's Nominating Committee and serves on Logitech's Compensation Committee. Sue Gove has been a non-executive member of Logitech's board of directors since September 2015 and serves on Logitech’s Audit Committee.

A Filipina, Marjorie as CFO is a part of the 12-member Lego Executive Leadership Team joined She joined the LEGO Group in 2014 as Senior Vice President of Finance. She was promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2017. Prior to joining the LEGO Group, Marjorie held a wide range of leadership positions including Chief Financial Officer of Tandberg ASA and finance and strategic development roles in CISCO, the Procter & Gamble Company and McKinsey & Company.
Reporting to Marjorie are LEGO Group Finance, Corporate Legal Affairs, Government & Public Affairs, Social Responsibility & Engagement, Environmental Responsibility, Tax, and Corporate Risk & Business Compliance.
