LPA may develop into tropical storm
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is monitoring a new low pressure area (LPA) east of the country that may develop into a tropical cyclone by weekend. PAGASA weather specialist Shelly Ignacio, said the LPA was estimated at 2,200 kilometers east of Mindanao on Tuesday. Ignacio said the LPA may enter the country’s area of responsibility by weekend as a tropical cyclone.
