– Residents of Baseco Compound in Manila join the clean-up drive initiated by Senator Cynthia Villar near the Manila Bay on Tuesday to ensure continuous flow of water in the vicinity to prevent the onset of water-borne diseases. Sen. Villar also turned over toilet bowls and held mangrove planting in the area with the help of representatives from partner agencies. Villar emphasized that sanitation is fundamental to good health and socio-economic growth.
