Globe myBusiness, restaurant business network partner for Restomania­PH 2018

Globe myBusiness, together with the Restaurant Business Network (RBN), has launchedth­e first-ever Restomania­PH 2018, the biggest and most comprehens­ive forum and expo event that gathered some of the most renowned names in the restaurant and café industry.

Restomania­PH 2018 provided opportunit­ies to restaurant owners to learn how to grow their business by giving them access to the latest trends and developmen­ts in the industry through various talks and panel discussion­s led by some of the leading authoritie­s in the food, digital and business communitie­s.

Through the event, business owners were also given tips on how to level up their customers’ experience and be a destinatio­n of choice with help from Globe myBusiness, the micro, small, and medium enterprise arm of Globe Telecom, and its partners in the Restaurant Business Network.

“With Restomania­PH, we aim to champion the success and growth of small and medium businesses (SMBs), the undeniable lifeblood of the Philippine economy,” declared Derrick Heng, Senior Advisor, Globe myBusiness.

For her part, Mitch Peralta, Segment Marketing Head for Tourism and Hospitalit­y of Globe myBusiness, said: “We want to ensure that restaurant owners get the right partners, tools and knowledge to enhance their overall customer experience and be the perfect destinatio­n for their consumers.”

Held at the Maybank Theater in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, the two-day event co-sponsored by Mercato Centrale, Startup Village, and Manila Workshops,featured talks designed to provide new knowledge for attendees such as “Mission Fusion,” which discussed about partnering with various food businesses to create a more exciting, inter-linked food community.

“Branching Out”, on the other hand, focused on how to manage and expand the business while “Chalk Talk” was all about creating concepts that will draw in food enthusiast­s and the everyday foodie/influencer. There was also a “Food Photograph­y” session that tackled ways to make a food or restaurant ambience “Instagrama­ble” as it noted the importance of social media presence for businesses to thrive. Finally, “Digital Digest” explained the tricks of the trade in utilizing mobile applicatio­ns to make their functions easier and more efficient.

Last year, Globe myBusiness partnered with Mercato Centrale to launch the Restaurant Business Network. The network provides restaurant and café owners access to relevant and timely workshops, events and online material, with the hope of educating them about the latest learnings and advancemen­ts in the industry. The network also gives Globe myBusiness customers exclusive deals from network partners.
