The Caloocan police is now coordinating with the company of the human resource manager who was killed Wednesday, as they look into the work-related angle as the possible motive.

The victim, identified by the police as Jason Cuadrasal, 31, a resident of Caloocan and a human resource manager at Good Year Steel Pipe in Quezon City, was shot dead by two unidentified men on July 11. He died on the spot after sustaining gunshot wounds in the head.

Investigators revealed that a closedcircuit television (CCTV) footage showed that two men wearing bull caps tailed Cuadrasal shortly before the shooting.

A witness told police that upon reaching a sari-sari store along Lakas ng Mahirap Street around 6:45 a.m., the victim was gunned down by the assailants, who immediately fled on a motorcycle.

Police said they recovered a paper with a written message at the scene.

“Kamatayan kay Jason Cuadrasal from Armadong Rebolusyonaryong Manggagawa under the leadership of Manuel Salvacion (Death to Jason Cuadrasal from the Armadong Rebolusyonaryong Manggagawa under the leadership of Manuel Salvacion),” the message read.

Cuadrasal’s relatives said he was a good man and had no known enemy.

Police said they have yet to establish persons of interest behind the incident.
