The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will conduct job fairs abroad to encourage Filipinos to come home and join the “Build Build Build” infrastructure program of the administration which needs an initial workforce of 3,000 and expected to create an employment of about one million every year.

"We really need workers for these projects. (So) I'm thinking of conducting a reverse job fair in several destination countries." Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said in an interview Monday.

The DOLE plans to hold the reverse job fairs in September or October in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

'Build Build Build” will be needing an initial workforce of 3,000. But Bello said the government is looking to create 1.2 million jobs in the construction industry per year, Bello said.

Earlier, Department of Transportation Secretary Art Tugade said that the Build Build Build program of the administration is expected to create an average employment of about one million every year.

Meanwhile, Bases Conversion and Development Authority President Vince Dizon said the Jobs Jobs Jobs Portal, a job matching platform between potential employers and employees, is now accessible to the public via www.build.gov.ph with at least 11,000 jobs.
