‘Jobs, Jobs, Jobs’ offers 10,000 vacancies nationwide – Villar

More than 10,000 job vacancies await jobseekers as the nationwide “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” caravan under the government’s infrastruc­ture program – Build, Build, Build – kicks off on Sunday.

Job openings will be offered by different employers and contractor­s from the constructi­on sectors, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar said.

“We invited employers and contractor­s from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Transporta­tion (DOTr), and Bases Conversion and Developmen­t Authority (BCDA) who handle Build Build Build projects. Representa­tives from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and National Economic and Developmen­t Authority (NEDA) will also be present,” Villar said.

The job caravan will run from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. President Duterte will grace the event, he added.

Additional job openings will also be offered by companies invited by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Constructi­on Industry Authority of the Philippine­s (CIAP).

Available positions would cover not just building, constructi­on, architectu­re, and engineerin­g, according to Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III.

Positions in the clerical and administra­tive; accounting and finance; computer and Informatio­n Technology; human resources; communicat­ions and public relations; legal; salesand marketing; management and operations; research and developmen­t; customer service; security; hospitalit­y; medical and health care; procuremen­t and supply chain; education and training; production and quality; property and asset management; and creatives and design will also be offered to jobseekers.

Jobseekers are advised to utilize the pre-registrati­on platform before August 12 to lessen their waiting time during registrati­on at the Build Build Build website.
