-

Altas Copco, a world-leading provider of sustainable industry solutions, recently inaugurated its first Philippine Compressor Technique Services (CTS) Training Academy in their main office in Biñan, Laguna.

In a statement, the company said that the goal of this program is to further develop and enhance the competence level of Southeast Asian field service and product engineers through hands-on and case in point activities. The training facility includes a machine room called Dimasalang Room and a classroom where all the fundamentals and techniques are discussed dubbed as the Plaridel Room.

With the CTS, Atlas Copco will be able to give first-class service and support with the customers and distributors, as well as extending the training facility for them.

“We recognize our people as one of the 5 strategic pillars of Atlas Copco. Combined with operational excellence attained by programs such as the CTS Training Academy, we continue to see a rapid growth potential of Filipinos in this arena. While our machines serve as the legs and hands of our company, we see our people as its backbone. They need to be strengthened and stretched to their fullest potential, always ready to compete in the global scene of this industry,” said Sanjeev Sharma, General Manager of Atlas Copco Philippines.

Prior to its Philippine Training Center, Atlas Copco has launched its first CTS Academy in Malaysia in 2017 and have conducted 14 modules to 110 service technicians.
