Warm weather, scat­tered rains due

Warm weather will per­sist over most parts of the coun­try par­tic­u­larly in the morn­ing due to the pre­vail­ing east­er­lies, or warm and hu­mid air com­ing from the Pa­cific.

The Philip­pine At­mo­spheric, Geo­phys­i­cal and Astro­nom­i­cal Ser­vices Ad­min­is­tra­tion (PAGASA), how­ever, said the Bi­col re­gion and East­ern Visayas will ex­pe­ri­ence cloudy skies with scat­tered rain show­ers and thun­der­storms from Satur­day un­til Sun­day.

It warned res­i­dents in these ar­eas of pos­si­ble flash floods or land­slides due to scat­tered light to mod­er­ate to at times heavy rains in the af­ter­noon or evening.

Mean­while, the north­east­erly wind flow is pre­vail­ing over the ex­treme part of North­ern Lu­zon.

PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with iso­lated light rains will be felt in Batanes and Babuyan group of is­lands.

Metro Manila and the rest of the coun­try will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with iso­lated rain show­ers due to lo­cal­ized thun­der­storms.
