Former PBA coach arrested
Former Phillipine Basketball Association (PBA) coach Dante Silverio was arrested on Friday after allegedly firing his gun due to an argument with a neighbor in Barangay Magallanes, Makati City.
Investigation showed that the incident occurred at around 10:20 a.m. at Ecology Village.
Chief Insp. Gideon Ines of the Makati City police said Silverio has been feuding with his neighbor which led to an argument on Friday.
Silverio reportedly fired his .38 caliber pistol during the altercation.
Neighbors sought police assistance as Silverio drove off in a sports utility vehicle.
He was eventually arrested in his office along Chino Roces Extension.
Silverio is currently under hospital arrest at the Makati Medical Center after he complained of chest and stomach pains.
Appropriate charges will be filed against him.
